INTRODUCING
GARDEN & GRow
March 13 - june 19, 5PM-6:15PM
Introducing a new teen program from the Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center (LMCCC) for Spring 2024!

Join high school friends and make new ones while developing, designing and cultivating a garden from the ground up with the supportive team at LMCCC. Connect with peers and nature while preparing and growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers that may be used to inspire communal celebrations. The group will also notice and explore the connection between communal gardening and the increase in self-esteem, resilience and optimism generated through working together toward a common goal.
Parents: Research shows that youth gardens provide a hands-on setting to learn skills that promote interpersonal communication, responsibility, patience, pride, self-confidence, curiosity, critical thinking as well as developing an awareness of the larger world outside of self.

If your child would benefit from cultivating friendships and connection through gardening with other teens, please reach out to Amy Pace at
amy@communitycounselingcenter.org for more information.

This program will meet at the Community Counseling Center on alternate Wednedsays from 5PM-6:15PM. Pizza will be served!
