Join our #LMCCCcares campaign

In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month this past September, we ran a campaign to encourage community members to write caring messages to friends, classmates, colleagues, loved ones etc. to tell them why they are grateful for them.
September has passed, but it's not too late to join our connection revolution. Pick up a card from the CCC or write your own note, give it to the person you care about, and share it with us on instagram (check out our #LMCCCcares hashtag feed below). You might just inspire someone else to do the same.
-
Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10-34 (NIMH, April 2019)
-
The CDC cites isolation as a risk factor and advocates for community connection as a preventative measure (June 2018)
-
Research has shown that caring messages from healthcare professionals and loved ones helps increase a sense of connection and reduces the risk of suicide
