What our kids are REALLY saying:
the latest survey on alcohol & marijuana use

LM CONNECTS sponsors a Community-Level Youth Development Evaluation (CLYDE) survey every two years which is completed by students at Hommocks and Mamaroneck High School. The survey highlights local alcohol and substance use trends and helps to inform district and community programming.

Thanks to all who joined us our presentation of ‘What Teens are REALLY saying - the latest results of our drug and alcohol survey' which was made possible through LM CONNECTS - an alliance of representatives from LMCCC, Mamaroneck Schools, PT Council, Police Department Youth Officers and other community members.

In front of a full house of parents, district administrators, and Board of Ed members, we heard directly from survey expert Dan Webb, who shared with us his insights on the trends our teens are facing concerning alcohol and drug use in our community. Many thanks to our panel of support professionals - social workers Helene Fremder and Nicolette Laoiza, youth officer Frank Maresca, and LMCCC’s clinical director Alan Dienstag - who shared their insights and provided meaningful suggestions for how parents and community members can support our students.
