The Community Resource Center (formerly Hispanic Resource Center) was founded in 1998 to promote the cultural, economic, educational and professional integration of immigrants to the already established larger community and to advocate for those in need. They aim to provide the tools to prepare new immigrant families to become self-sufficient and active members of the community.

Our Spanish-speaking La Casa service frequently collaborates with the CRC on programs that benefit both communities.

We work closely with The Mamaroneck School District, which consists of Murray, Chatsworth, Mamaroneck Avenue, and Central elementary schools, Hommocks Middle School, and Mamaroneck High School. Students come from the Village of Larchmont, the Village of Mamaroneck and the Town of Mamaroneck. The district is both ethnically and economically diverse and has grown by about 16% in the past ten years to a total enrollment of approximately 5,300 students.

Explore our In School Programs page for more information about the on site services we offer at Hommocks.

“The Parent Circle was a great way to connect with other families experiencing similar challenges to ours and learn new skills to successfully parent our son. The classes made me a more mindful parent and made me feel more in control at home. And I love the leaders!”
