NEW!!  How do we talk to our pre-adolescents and adolescents about drugs and alcohol?  You know it’s important, but it’s so hard to do- Your kids avoid it, turn the conversation around, roll their eyes, or defeat you before you even start.  Navigating the dialogue about adolescent drug and alcohol use is tricky for parents.  Taking the time to reflect on your approach and how it is working for your family is a simple step YOU can take to reduce the risks.Join us at the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center for a two session workshop to create a drug and alcohol policy for your family. Just gather together a small group of your friends (or the parents of your child’s friends), pick a time that is convenient for your group, and email us at us

Groups are led by a professional staff member and will: 1) Identify the elements of an effective family drug and alcohol policy; and 2) provide you with the language and the strategies you need to engage with your adolescents on this critical issue.
